I was never a card player in the past or was no good at playing cards
– The course starts very slowly, and assumes no previous knowledge at all!
Fear of the unknown / Coming into a new environment with no prior knowledge

Thought I’d be rubbish at it, and everybody else would be mathematical boffins!
– All you need to be able to do really is count up to 13, and also to 52!
Thought it would be really complicated
– The game is essentially a simple one, there is just a lot of it – which is why even the experts still love learning!

– Learning bridge is very inexpensive, the classes cost less than a typical yoga session or similar!
